That's All Folks!

The West Virginia baseball home stand is now over, and with that ends my run at being the "Voice of the Mountaineers." I had fun watching baseball games from the pressbox and getting paid for it. I didn't do it for the money, it's never about the money. I love working baseball games. The team ended their home series with a thrilling series versus the Pirates of Seton Hall. Both teams came into the series tied for last place in the BIG EAST conference. To make a long story short, in three games the Mountaineers put up 54 runs compared to Seton Hall's 7. They won by scores of 21-1, 17-3 and 16-3. Everybody hit and everybody scored. It was a fun time for both the fans and the players. I will miss doing the PA announcing but look forward to my new challenges and opportunities. More on this to come soon...

My favorite line, "I didn't do it for the money, it's never about the money."

That's right JB - and don't you forget it! Money IS the root of all evil. It's about the experience, the contacts, and NOT about "that lucre which doth ccorrupt the soul."
