MLB Draft: Day Two
Posted by Nathan & Valerie at 5:39 PM |
Today and yesterday Major League Baseball has held their draft as they always do: via conference call to the Commissioner's office in New York City. Yesterday they had the first 18 rounds broadcast over the Internet and today they had rounds 19-50.
Around 6:00 pm on Day Two the Houston Astros selected Nathan Coffey as their Media Relations fall intern for the 2005 season. I have always wanted to work for a Major League Baseball team and am extremely excited about the opportunity. It will be a lot of work and not a lot of sleep but I'm pumpeed.
More on this later.

Hey Nathan, Congradulations on getting such a great job. This should help to open many more doors in the furture. It's good to see one of the Coffey's becoming famous.
Two things:
1. Congratulations!
2. Can I get a Roger Clemons signed ball, please! And/or box suite tickets?
JB
Congrats Nate.
