Yahoo is reporting that former soccer great, Mia Hamm, and her husband, Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Nomar Garciaparra, have had twin baby girls in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Twins are a handle (especially for new parents) and with their busy,hectic schedule it may be tough. At least Mia is retired from soccer and will be able to stay him and tend to the twins, I would suppose.

Poor Nomar, just as the new season is starting and BAM! -- twin girls he won't get to spend time with for awhile.
