Christmas Clean-up

Posted by Nathan & Valerie at 9:50 PM |1 comments
I really enjoy the Christmas season, now that I'm older I generally am
more excited about giving gifts to my wife than receiving gifts.

This year I was really excited to get her the things on her list, when
she finally gave me a list around our anniversary (Dec. 15). Luckily I
was able to go out and get just about everything she asked for.

I was really excited to give her a heated chair massager that can be
used in home, office or the car. She loves her massages and asks for
them regularly. I also got her a massage neck pillow - basically the
part of the massage chair that you put your face into.

There were a number of other gifts I gave her too but those to were her
most prized. Giving gifts that one can use for the rest of the year,
plus some, is always the best way to go.

I cleaned up as well. Although I wasn't too interested in what I got as
much as I was interested in giving gifts to her, I made out with the two
big things I wished for (and in this case its OK to end the sentence
with a preposition).

My two big gifts this year that I asked for were an iPod (although I had
asked for a 30 gigabyte and was surprised with an 80 gigabyte!) and 4
gigabytes of RAM for my new-ish laptop (Dell Vostro 1500). Now my
laptop will be extremely fast.

We spent the night at Valerie's brothers house so we could be up early
to check out the cool gifts Santa brought our nieces and nephew.

We hope everybody had wonderful holidays!
